KCET 2018 Counselling

The KCET Counseling 2018 is going to be held on first week of June 2018. The KCET is conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority. It is a State Level Entrance Examination that takes place every year, to get admissions into various courses such as Engineering, Medical, Pharmacy etc. In this article, we will provide complete details regarding the KCET 2018 Counseling procedures.

KCET Counselling 2018

The KCET 2018 Counselling is held right after the declaration of the results of the Entrance Examination. The shortlisted candidates will be called for the Counseling procedure. The counseling procedure will be held on the basis of the merit list prepared. For the document verification process, the candidate have to report the counseling centre with their original documents. The list of the counseling centres can be accessed from the official website. The documents have to be verified in person only. The seats will be allotted on the basis of the scores/ marks secured in the Entrance Examination. The candidates can go for second counseling process, if they are not allotted with the seats in the first round.

KCET 2018 Counseling Procedure

•  In the Counseling Procedure, candidates have to verify their documents.
• After the document verification, if the candidates are found eligible then they will be allowed for the online option entry.
• In the Option entry, candidates can fill in choices of the branches and colleges by paying the counseling fees.
• After few days of the option entry, the seat allotment results will be announced online.
• The Allotment of the seats will be completely based on the candidate’s rank in KCET 2018 and the choices filled by them.
• Candidates can download the admission letter after the seat allotment procedure.
• Candidates can confirm the seats by reporting to the alloted institute and complete all the admission formalities.
